In February 2011 Professor Trybus presented a paper on the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union background to defence procurement in the EU at a conference event on the new EU Defence and Security Procurement Directive organised by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris.
Speakers hailed from various Paris, Berlin, Brussels, and London law firms (and chambers), the European Commission, and the European defence industries.
