What kind of research are we looking for?

We welcome research proposals that fit any of our PhD / MA by Research programmes in the College of Arts and Law. We're particularly interested in proposals that fit our strategic research focuses:

  • Environment
  • Creative Industries
  • Culture and Heritage
  • Inequality
  • Interdisciplinarity

I chose the University of Birmingham because I had the support of two incredible supervisors. They both supported me with my PhD and M4C funding applications, so I felt they were really on my side from the beginning.
