School of Physics and Astronomy outreach for primary schools

We are happy to discuss a one off visit to the University of Birmingham for school groups. Visits must be arranged in advance, so that a suitable programme can be arranged and are subject to appropriate staff and venues being available. Please contact our team to discuss your requirements.

An annual Primary Science Fair is run in collaboration with The Ogden Trust. Local primary schools run their own school science fairs and then bring a selection to an inter-school science fair held at the university. A panel of academics then judge these based on their research, scientific thinking, analysis and conclusions.
