The Advanced Manufacturing Technologies that Create, Activate and Automate (AMTECAA) programme supports regional manufacturing SMEs (small-to-medium sized businesses) to better understand and take advantage of new industrial digital technologies. These technologies enable productivity and competitiveness gains today, in addition to creating new products, processes and services for tomorrow.
This programme focusses on specific component technologies of smart manufacturing including;
- Robotics & Automation
- Additive Manufacturing
- Subtractive Manufacturing
- Hybrid Manufacturing
- Surface Engineering
- Laser Processing
This programme will also work with project sponsors to establish smart manufacturing demonstrators to showcase the latest advances in the above technology areas to local manufacturers.
Am I eligible for support?
To be eligible for support you must be a manufacturing small-to-medium business (SME) i.e. fewer than 250 employees and a turnover of less than 50 million euros, and located within one of the three Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) areas, namely Greater Birmingham & Solihull, Coventry & Warwickshire, and Stoke & Staffordshire.
