Award Description

The award is for UK / EU students meeting the eligibility criteria for the MSc in Health Economics and Econometrics. Three awards are available each year and will be tenable for one year only.

The MSc Health Economics and Econometrics programme was awarded three studentships by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) from  2014-2016. The re tender for these studentships was successful and three more studentships have been awarded. These studentships will be offered each year until 2019-20. The studentships cover course fees and a stipend for living costs. The studentships are available for UK / EU students only.

Applications for 2016-17 are now open.

Value of Award

This scholarship will cover the home rate of postgraduate tuition fees and a stipend for living costs is also available.

Eligibility Criteria

All UK/ EU students who apply for and meet the eligibility criteria for the MSc Health Economics and Econometrics will be considered for the award. To be considered for the studentships you need to apply by 30th June 2017. 

How to Apply

Students should apply for the MSc Health Economics and Econometrics in the usual way. All eligible applicants who apply before the deadline (30th June 2017) will be considered for the studentships. Short-listed candidates will be interviewed.
