- CCR Corpus Training Sessions
Speaker: Dr Johan de Joode
Venue: Room 228 (Sinclair Room), Arts Building
This workshop introduces you to recent features of CLiC that facilitate the study of literary characterisation. CLiC’s annotation component supports the classification of linguistic features and specific patterns in a corpus of fiction. With exercises that are designed for the study of 19th century fiction we explore options of adding information to corpus outputs and generating specific frequency information that can support the analysis of literary texts.
Attendance of workshop 1) is not a requirement for the attendance of this workshop. You do not need any specific background for this session. For more information see the CLiC project website.
If you wish to attend any or all of the sessions below then please email Michelle Devereux m.c.m.devereux@bham.ac.uk to reserve a place. Spaces are very limited and will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
This session is fully booked.
