Electrically small antennas and super-directive arrays

We have developed electrically small low profile monopoles based on engineered metamaterial phase shifting lines that allow on-demand adjustment of the phase shift across their length and the control of the resonance condition of a folded monopole.

Furthermore, we have created electrically small super-directive monopole arrays which have potential applications in various wireless systems including wearable electronics and compact/mobile MIMO devices.
