Midlands Cardiovascular Sciences (CVS)

WORKSHOP LEADER: Professor Gerard Nash

There is considerable strength in cardiovascular sciences (CVS) in Midlands' universities. Birmingham and Leicester have the largest recognised CVS administrative units, Nottingham has excellence in CVS spread across different management or strategic units as do Warwick, Loughborough and Keele. There are already collaborative links between CVS in Birmingham, Leicester and Nottingham, and this workshop aims to explore the scope for a wider regional initiative utilising complementary strengths.
