Call for volunteers, we need your help

The Winter Weight Watch study is a randomised controlled trial looking at the effects of health and wellbeing information on people’s habits during the winter months.

The study will compare two types of information to see how useful they are and is being run by the Department of Primary Care Clinical Sciences at The University of Birmingham.

About

During winter, shorter daylight hours, colder weather and social occasions all contribute to changes in diet, mood and physical activity levels among the population. The study aims to assess whether information can have an effect during this time and participation will last for up to 8 weeks.

As a thank you and to cover any out of pocket expenses, you will receive a £10 high street voucher for completing the study.

Recruitment starts on 31 October 2017 until 15 December 2017.
