Recruitment and Participating Centres
Eraser's revised recruitment target is 618 patients, based on 80% power. The patients will be recruited in Trauma Centres across the UK. There are currently eight open sites and the target by 31st July 2025 is ten.
Recruitment Centres
Eraser Trial Centres are shown on the interactive map below. Centres shown in blue are currently open and have recruited at least one trial participant. Those shown in yellow are extremely interested in participating in the Eraser Trial but are not yet open to recruitment.
The total number of patients recruited to the Eraser Trial by the 3rd July 2025 is 204. The average number of patients recruited per month has increased from ten per month in September 2024 to 14 per month in June 2025. The aim is to recruit 220 patients by the end of July 2025
To ensure ERASER gets extended, we now need to be averaging 20+ participants per month, this means we really need to see each site averaging a minimum of three recruits per month. Please help us ensure ERASER is extended!
