Centre for Printing History and Culture

The Centre for West Midlands History is collaborating with the Faculty of Arts, Design and Media at Birmingham City University to create an international centre of excellence which focuses on printing history and culture.

The Centre for Printing History and Culture consists of researchers, heritage professionals and librarians. It aims to encourage research into all aspects and periods of printing history and culture, as well as education and training into the art and practice of printing.

This joint initiative will further develop the co-operative academic activities that Dr Malcolm Dick and Professor Caroline Archer have been engaged in since 2012 and strengthen the relationship between the University of Birmingham and Birmingham City University.
