There are currently no upcoming meetings for the STAR-TREC Trial

The STAR-TREC launch meeting took place at the Institute of Translational Medicine in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham on the 14th July 2016.  It was attended by approximately 50 trial collaborators, with all relevant specialisms represented: Surgery, Oncology, Radiology, Pathology and Research Nursing.  Topics covered included surgical technique and quality assurance, the patient pathway and follow-up and the schedule of assessments. An interactive quality-assurance workshop aimed at STAR-TREC surgeons and oncologists took place on 21st October 2015.  The workshop was a mandatory, and aimed to facilitate the delivery of a protocol defined RT technique and allow QA procedures to be applied that demonstrated that this was achieved.  The workshop was attended by over 50 specialists.   A full list of the topics covered can be found on the meeting agenda.
