Supporting the decarbonisation of Birmingham and beyond

Join us on the 23rd November at the University of Birmingham to explore how you can get involved in various projects delivered by the Birmingham Energy Institute and its partners to decarbonise the city of Birmingham and wider region.

Location: Dome Lecture Theatre, 2nd Floor, Aston Webb Building, Edgbaston Campus, University of Birmingham

Students and staff from the University of Birmingham are invited to join the local community to discover the work that is being done to help the City achieve its net zero carbon ambitions.

The session will begin with a presentation from Birmingham City Council about the city’s ambitions for decarbonisation, we will then explore how the work of the Birmingham Energy Institute and its partners is supporting the delivery of these aspirations. Attendees will then get an insight into the opportunities available to them, from placements and volunteering through to community engagement and the Green Impact Awards scheme.
