Secondary analysis of the Labour Force Survey In 'Research' Research in VICTAR Timeframe2011 -2015 Principal InvestigatorsRachel Hewett (Victar, University of Birmingham)Sue Keil (RNIB) Contact detailsRachel Hewett r.g.hewett@bham.ac.uk Since 2011, the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) have commissioned VICTAR to annually conduct a secondary data analysis of the UK Labour Force Survey. The aim of this work is to investigate employment data which is available in this extensive data set in relation to the employment outcomes of blind and partially sighted people. The findings of this analysis have been used by RNIB in better targeting their services and providing evidence in campaigns. In 2015 an additional analysis was carried out of an European ad-hoc module which focused specifically on disabled workers.
