Patient and public involvement (PPI) in research is when patients and/or members of the public are actively involved in carrying out research. The WHO Collaborating Centre for Global Women’s Health is committed to PPI and engagement.
Our work is founded on the belief that women should be involved in all ventures that affect the healthcare they receive – including research. Our research aims to embed the principles of involvement and engagement, and we work with many organisations to ensure that we reach a large and diverse demographic of women.
