Currently, I am doing my Phd in Modern languages (Arabic). Previously, I have my BA in Arabic Language and Literature form The Hashemite University, Jordan and MA in Arabic Linguistic from International Islamic University Malaysia . My interest is on Arabic and applied linguistic.


My research investigates the language patterns through discursive construction on the Arab Spring in modern Arabic news articles. The research aims to discover the struggle between different discourses which represent the Arab Spring.  The research applies combination of Critical Discourse Analysis of Norman Fairclough and Discourse Theory of Laclau and Mouffe with the assist of Corpus Linguistic.
