Home to 147 students, Aitken is the place for you if you prefer living with a smaller group of people.

Nestled in leafy surroundings at the top of The Vale, Aitken’s modern flats are a short walk away from the Hub at Shackleton – the centre of village life. Here you’ll find a student bar, study and social spaces, our Vale Infusion restaurant, and a Costcutter shop for groceries.

At Aitken, you’ll benefit from a modern and spacious bedroom with plenty of storage, as well as the use of comfy shared communal spaces where you can relax and make new friends. You’ll share your dining space and kitchen with your flatmates, as well as a bathroom. This is where you can relax, socialise, and cook with others, when you’re not tucking into something delicious at one of our cafés and restaurants.

Student Living Plus is our answer to catered accommodation at University of Birmingham. Once a week during term time, your student ID card will be loaded with £68.00 for you to spend at over 25+ food and drink outlets across campus and the Vale (excluding alcohol).
