Your county representative is is Vivian Idoko. The Nigeria team will be happy to answer any queries you might have, please send an email and they will respond as quickly as possible.

The British Council has offices in many countries throughout the world which are able to provide you with advice about studying in the UK. Most offices also have an education library and Internet facilities where you can consult university material. The British Council can also provide advice about funding opportunities.

In order to undertake a programme of study here at the University, you will need to demonstrate that you have a suitable level of English proficiency.

How do I apply for a Postgraduate Taught programme?

Applying to your postgraduate taught programme can be done in a few simple steps. Your application is specifically designed for the programme you choose to apply for and it is sensitive to the answers you provide as you proceed through the application.

Can I visit the campus?

Our beautiful campus is open to the public throughout the year, so if you are in the UK and would like to visit, you can book onto a campus tour. Each tour is guided by one of our current students, giving you the perfect chance to hear first-hand what life at the University is really like.

Entry requirements

Undergraduate

The University will consider students who have taken GCE A Level examinations, the International Baccalaureate (IB), or a suitable foundation programme, such as one of our Foundation Pathways, for entrance to undergraduate programmes.

The University has a number of agreements with foundation providers in Nigeria which allows students to be considered for admission to undergraduate programmes. Please contact us for more information.

Students who have completed the first year of a 4-year Bachelor degree from a recognised institution in Nigeria with excellent grades (2.1, 3.0/4.0, 3.5/5.0) will be considered for entrance to undergraduate programmes (first year entry).

Postgraduate

Students who hold a Bachelor degree (minimum 4 years and/or level 400) from a recognised institution will be considered for Postgraduate Diplomas and Masters degrees.  Most taught Masters programmes require a minimum of an upper second class degree (2.1) with a minimum GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 or 3.5/5.0

Students who have completed a Masters degree from a recognised institution will be considered for PhD study.
