The Department of Public Administration and Policy was formed in August 2023 to lead study of (inter)national, regional and local public administration and public policy. It incorporates the Birmingham Leadership Institute (BLI) which was established in 2021 to research and develop the leadership required to make progress on the most pressing contemporary challenges.
