- Major centre - Birmingham is a major centre for cancer treatment, both adult and paediatric. It is also home to the West Midlands Genomic Medicine Centre, part of the 100,000 genomes project, led from University Hospital Birmingham.
- Staff expertise - Draws on expertise from staff within the Department of Cancer and Genomic Sciences and clinical staff from Birmingham Hospitals plus invited speakers from across the country.
- Clinical observership status - Will provide overseas full time students with a unique opportunity to gain clinical observership status and log your hours observing in a UK based hospital.

If you're an international student, you are required to pay a non-refundable tuition fee deposit of £3,000. Your deposit not only secures your place but also marks the beginning of a life enhancing experience with us.
The deposit payment will be deducted from the tuition fee at registration. You will be required to pay this deposit before your offer can progress and you can register with us.

Clinical Trials Unit
Clinical Trials UnitThe Birmingham Clinical Trials Unit (BCTU) has a long and established track record of offering the scientific, technical and computing expertise needed to support clinical trial research from conception to completion. Aiming to allow you to understand the research process, MSc Clinical Oncology draws on examples from the Clinical Trials Unit, one of the largest trial units in the country.
