300 alumni scholarships worth £2,000 for returning undergraduate alumni studying a postgraduate taught degree

The University of Birmingham is offering alumni scholarships worth £2,000 to returning undergraduate alumni as our appreciation for your choice to study with us for your postgraduate taught degree.

Applications are open

Open to our returning undergraduate alumni from our UK and Dubai campuses, these scholarships will support the best and brightest minds from across the world to study an eligible postgraduate taught degree in the 2026/27 academic year.

To apply to the Alumni Scholarship, you must have already submitted a study application for a course commencing in 2026. Once you have applied and have an Applicant ID, you can complete the short form below.

Due to the high volume of applications, the Alumni Scholarship will have two rounds:

  • The deadline for round one is 23:59 (UK time) on 30 April 2026.
  • The deadline for round two is 23:59 (UK time) on 31 July 2026.

If you are made a reserve in a round, you do not need to re-apply to the scholarship scheme as your application will be automatically carried over into the following rounds.
