If you can't make it to an Open Day we do have other ways you can visit campus, such as campus tours, school visits, summer schools and other events.

Pathways to Birmingham and Outreach activities

Local school and college students taking part in our outreach activities often have opportunities to visit the University campus as part of their programme.

Our outreach programmes aim to help students from the West Midlands region who have little experience of higher education to decide on the best route for their future. From interactive workshops to residential summer schools, our outreach activities raise aspirations and support students to achieve their full potential.

To take part in an outreach event or activity, students need the support of their teacher and school or college. You can find out more about our pathways programmes online.

School visits

The University of Birmingham is fully engaged in supporting the vital role that schools play in inspiring and educating the next generation.

From supporting teachers in their career development to offering opportunities for pupils to explore the world of higher education, we work with schools to raise aspirations, motivate learners and transform lives. Find out how your school can visit our campus and explore the facilities on offer.
