Offer-holder visit days

Meet staff and current students from your subject area

Our applicant and offer-holder events give you the opportunity to explore our green and spacious campus

We know that visiting the University plays a really important part in your decision making process – we know that if you visit you’ll love it here as much as we do! Many subject areas hold offer-holder events, and others conduct interview days instead. If the Department you have applied to runs an offer-holder event then you will receive an invitation via email shortly after you are made an offer.

During your offer-holder event you'll get the chance to meet staff and current students from your subject area, get all of your questions answered and learn all you need to know about what makes your course at Birmingham special. You'll get a taste of what life is like on campus and you can explore the vibrant, diverse student city of Birmingham.

My favourite part of campus, and the thing that makes it so special, is the atmosphere. It is such an open, welcoming and inclusive space. From relaxing on the Green Heart with great views of Old Joe to watching sports matches down at Bournbrook Pitches, there is always something happening.

Discover our accommodation

You may be thinking of living in halls for your first year at university, and you'll be keen to know what your future home will look like. A small selection of our accommodation will be open between 10am and 4pm, and is just a short 15 minute walk from campus. We recommend that you arrive a little earlier if your subject activity takes place in the afternoon, or if your session is in the morning, please allow some time in the afternoon to explore accommodation on the day. We've had to limit what we can show you due to halls currently being occupied. You can view a larger number of our different accommodation types online via our 360 tours.

Visiting our city

Cadbury’s chocolate, The Bullring, Peaky Blinders, the Balti – all things synonymous with our city. Yet Birmingham has so much more to offer than this. We are so proud of our city and our students love being close to the hustle and bustle it has to offer; explore Birmingham and discover the hype!
