Birmingham University Materials Society, or BUMS as we're fondly known, is the departmental society for the School of Metallurgy and Materials. We combine social events and sport with career-related activities such as industrial visits and fairs, and top it all off with the annual Materials Ball to make sure you get the most out of your time with us! BUMSport is our sports brand which covers our mixed football, netball and basketball teams who compete in weekly campus league fixtures and training sessions. We're so good we've been named 'Society of the Year' TWICE at the 2015 and 2018 EPS Societies' Awards!
