We cater for those who have career aspirations in the rail industry or just a casual interest in trains and railways. Our events include behind-the-scenes visits to steam railways, train depots, and signalling centres, as well as socials, industry talks and guided history walks. We're also looking at building our own model railway! The Society was founded in October 2017 and since then we've grown leaps and bounds. In 2019 we won the EPS Industrial Award for our work with various companies within the industry! If you’d like to find out more and get involved, please join our Facebook group and visit our Facebook page, or email us at railway@guild.bham.ac.uk.
