Apply your learning to a real business challenge

Available on selected Masters programmes at the University of Birmingham, Company Projects give you the opportunity to complete your degree in collaboration with an organisation, contributing to solutions for a live business challenge. Instead of following a traditional dissertation route, you'll apply your knowledge to solve business problems, gain hands-on experience, and make a meaningful contribution to industry.

You'll partner with an organisation for around three months. Previous projects have included developing strategic marketing campaigns, analysing supply chain challenges, improving operational performance and delivering recommendations that support business growth.

It has been a great experience working as part of a consultancy team, conducting research and developing strategic recommendations that can have a practical impact. I’ve also really valued the opportunity to gain experience in a client-facing environment and understand how decisions are approached in a real-world setting.
