Prerequisites
Foundational knowledge of the following is required to be able to understand code examples used in the course:
- Python used to write scientific code
- Python virtual environments with venv
- Version control with Git and GitHub
- Working in a command line interface (shell)
Attending Building Better Research Software I is recommended but not required. You should also be comfortable working in an integrated development environment (e.g. Visual Studio Code).
