Apply for time
Users are welcome to apply for time on the NMR spectrometers, as described.
UK academic users
UK academic users currently have chargeable access to available time on the 1.2 GHz, 1.0 GHz and 900 MHz spectrometers for internationally competitive research, and may also access the other NMR systems.
Please:
- Submit an Academic Access form (Word, 39 KB) for each new measurement time request. The same project description can be used for multiple measurement time requests within the frame of the same project for up to 2 years.
- Visit or mail samples to Sara Whittaker.
Local users
Local Users are asked to:
- Submit an Academic Access form (Word, 39 KB) for each new project or sample set. The measurement time requested in the form should refer only to the first set of experiments. An estimation of the measurement time needed for the current year should be given in Section 5. NB: A new form must be submitted when new samples with a different risk profile are measured, even if within the frame of the same project.
- Use the online booking system.
Commercial clients
Commercial clients are asked to:
- Contact Mark Jeeves and Simon Jones (Business Development Manager - telephone +44(0) 121 414 9090 to set up the necessary agreements)
- Visit or mail samples and other materials directly to Mark Jeeves or another member of the NMR staff.
