Water challenges in a changing world

Water is a finite resource, a key requirement for human health, prosperity and security. Yet billions of people worldwide are confronted with serious water-related challenges: scarcity, poor quality, lack of sanitation facilities, or water-related disasters such as floods and droughts.

The Challenge theme will draw on cross disciplinary approaches to take a holistic view of the interconnected nature of Water challenges, examining water through the prisms of Technology, Health, and Social Justice.
