Title: Why Study MSc Advanced Engineering Management? | University of Birmingham
Duration: 01.32
Begins
[Megha] My name is Megha, and I'm pursuing MSc Advanced Engineering Management.
Advanced Engineering Management is such a course that helps you in gaining expertise in your technical field, that is civil engineering, as well as it helps you in gaining the expertise in the business modules as well, both in the business industry as well as in the construction sector.
When it comes to networking with alumni or with industry professionals, I think that is what we need, for the advancement of our career.
I actually enjoyed the group assignments a lot, coming together with different perspectives and then working in a team.
It's a completely different experience in itself.
So I just love it.
My favourite course has been Innovation and Strategy, as well as Organisational Behaviour and Operational Management.
This course has actually helped me in gaining the insights of how to manage complex projects.
We get technical expertise as well as the strategic side of construction management.
And actually, this is the demand of the time.
The credibility of a Birmingham degree, as well as the network that I'm building up here, will open doors to many opportunities.
It could be project management or in a consultancy, or you never know, you can open up a venture of your own.
It's a great course in a great university.
