Part time work opportunities for students

We understand that budgeting for life and study is important to you. Worklink, our dedicated student employment service, helps you to find flexible, well paid part-time roles that fit around your studies.

Each year, we invest more than £2.5 million to employ 3,000 of our own students in a wide range of roles, supporting our student community into part-time work. Roles available include lab technicians, sports camp assistants, nursery practitioners, exam invigilators, marketing content creators and many more.

Excellent rates of pay

We pay above the UK National Living Wage regardless of your age or background. The minimum rate of pay for student roles is £13.06 per hour with higher rates available depending on the role.

You’ll also earn holiday entitlement for every hour worked at 18.18%, meaning your rate of pay is even higher. You can work up to 20 hours per week during term time and work more hours outside of term as your visa allows.

Working 20 hours per week at this pay rate would mean you can cover the average rent, bills and food costs for the week.
