The Geometry and Mathematical Physics Group has received a number of research grants from funding bodies over the years.
- Dr Cyril Closset was funded for a Royal Society-funded project Singularities, supersymmetry and quantum invariants. It lasts from January 2023 until December 2025.
- Dr Cyril Closset was awarded £366,143 for the EPSRC-funded project Local Mirror Symmetry and Five-dimensional Field Theory. It lasts from November 2022 until October 2025.
- Professor Marta Mazzocco and Dr Nikita Nikolaev were awarded €224,934 for the ERC-funded project Abelianisation of Connections, Quantum Curves, and Spectral Clusters. It lasts from September 2022 until August 2024.
- Professor Marta Mazzocco was awarded a Leverhulme Research Project grant Extended Riemann Hilbert correspondence, quantum curves and mirror symmetry, with Dr Nikita Nikolaev as a research assistant. It lasts from February 2022 until January 2026.
- Dr Tyler Kelly was awarded £1,021,375 for the EPSRC-funded project Open Mirror Geometry for Landau-Ginzburg Models. It lasts from November 2020 until October 2024.
- Dr Cyril Closset was funded for a Royal Society-funded project Fibering operators in superconformal field theories in 5d and 6d. It lasts from March 2019 until September 2023.
- Dr Cyril Closset was awarded a Royal Society University Research Fellowship for the project Supersymmetric gauge theories across dimensions. It lasted from September 2018 until December 2022.
- Dr Tyler Kelly was awarded £234,458 for the EPSRC-funded project Mirror Constructions: Develop, Unify, Apply. It lasted from August 2019 until August 2022.
- Dr Andrea Brini was awarded £975,191 for the EPSRC-funded project Mirror symmetry, quantum curves and integrable systems. It lasted from September 2018 until August 2019.
- Professor Marta Mazzocco was awarded £370,541 for the EPSRC-funded project Cluster algebras, Teichmüller theory and Macdonald polynomials. It lasted from October 2017 until October 2021.
- Dr Tyler Kelly was awarded £222,670 for the EPSRC-funded project Bridging Frameworks via Mirror Symmetry. It lasted from August 2015 until August 2018.
