Cardiac Pillar

ROSSINI-Platform aims to recruit up to 26,000 patients over a period of 5 years from NHS Trusts across the UK.

Interventions

1) Additional prophylactic gram-negative antibiotics at induction vs. standard practice

2) Gentamycin sponge into wound vs. none

3) Incisional negative pressure wound therapy (iNPWT) vs. standard practice

Key Inclusion Criteria

Adults undergoing CABG via midline sternotomy.
