ROSSINI-Platform aims to recruit up to 26,000 patients over a period of 5 years from NHS Trusts across the UK.

Interventions

1) Vaginal cleansing with aqueous chlorhexidine vs. surgeon's choice

2) Azithromycin after chord clamping vs. none

3) Glove & instrument change prior to closure vs. standard practice

Key Inclusion Criteria

Patients >12yrs undergoing caesarian.
