I undertook my undergraduate degree at the University of Exeter obtaining a BSc in Sport and Exercise Sciences in 2011. This was followed by a MSc in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Liverpool John Moores in 2012. I started my PhD in 2013 at the University of East Anglia, graduating in 2017, which examined physical activity in patients following total hip replacement and ways to increase it. I started at the School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences in November 2018 with a focus on the design, implementation and testing of interventions that are designed to help people make healthier life choices.

What is your role as a ECDN Rep and how can postdocs in your school contact you?

I am one of the ECDN reps for the School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences. My role is to represent the views, aspirations and needs of early career researchers in the school. Please feel free to contact me using the information on my staff profile page

What do you feel are the benefits of the ECDN programme for postdocs and what do you feel have been the benefits to you from being a postdoc rep?

ECDN brings great benefits to the early career researcher community giving great opportunity to network, learn and further develop both as a researcher and more broadly as an academic.
