Solving value and policy function of epidemiological economic models. With research on the impact of pandemic on economic inequality.
Haokun is a economic researcher working on both macroeconomics modelling and microeconometrics. He uses modern computation technique, e.g. deep learning neural network, to solve the continuous-time dynamic programming problem. He also works on causal inference using reduced-form regressions.
