Yuwei Wang

NGO accountability: Selected Chinese Case Studies

Yuwei’s PhD project is about Chinese social organisations accountability. Although they have been widely taken as equivalent as non-governmental organisations, the socio-economic background and legal system are apparent. Therefore, this PhD project is approaching to the under researched area of ‘how to realise accountability to multiple stakeholders, especially accountability to beneficiaries which is often been overlooked’ in Chinese social organisations context.

Biography

Yuwei obtained her bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minor in Germany. During her bachelor studies, she participated in an exchange program at Hoschule Aalen where she focused on International Business.
