BactiVac Inaugural Annual Network Meeting

Our Inaugural Annual Network Meeting will be held on 26 and 27 February 2018 at the University of Birmingham. The meeting will focus on sharing our vision, objectives and strategy and will provide our members with the opportunity to shape these further.

Registration fees

Your registration fee covers:

  • the cost of attending the two day event with lunch on both days
  • attendance at the conference dinner on the evening of Monday 26 February 2018
  • overnight accommodation for Monday 26 February 2018 (single occupancy bed and breakfast)

All registration fees are subsided for members. There is no reduction in fee for less than full attendance.

Student/Research Fellow*/LMIC delegate**: £50 
Standard delegate registration: £80

*Research Fellow: please use this category if you are an early career researcher who does not currently hold a substantive position within your organisation

Accommodation:  

Your registration covers your accommodation costs (bed and breakfast single occupancy only) for the evening of Monday 26 February 2018 at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Birmingham City Centre (subject to availability). Should you require additional nights’ stay, the BactiVac Network Team will provide you with joining instructions giving information on options for your accommodation requirements. LMIC travel bursaries:

We are offering up to 20 travel bursaries, of up to £1200 GBP each, to support travel costs of attending our Inaugural Annual Network Meeting (to include travel, accommodation, and subsistence – the subsidised registration fee cannot be included in the travel bursary application).  Applicants must be currently based in an organisation within an LMIC country.  Only one travel bursary will be supported from each institution. Under exceptional circumstances, we may consider supporting more than one travel bursary from the same institution. Applications received will be reviewed by the BactiVac Operations Management Group on a weekly basis.   

Please complete the travel bursary application form and submit this to our BactiVac Admin Team at bactivac@contacts.bham.ac.ukOnce all 20 travel bursaries have been awarded, applications will then close, we therefore encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible. Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application within seven days of each review meeting.
