The University of Birmingham is pleased to announce that it will again be offering 5 full fee scholarships for Brazilian PhD students to study at Birmingham, commencing their studies in the academic year 2015/16. The scholarships will be available for three years.
There will be 5 awards available. Successful applicants will have their tuition and bench fees waived by the University for 3 years (36 months)
A living allowance will be provided by the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES), including a return international airfare. Details can be found in the terms and conditions set out by CAPES.
The awards are available to students in any subject area available at the University of Birmingham.
Candidates will be citizens and permanent residents of Brazil at the time of application
Candidates must not be currently working or studying abroad
Candidates must hold an offer from the University of Birmingham to be eligible for a scholarship; they must therefore fulfil the relevant academic and English language proficiency entry requirements
